Hi,
I have a TwoTrees 20W diode laser and just purchased a 60W ComMarker B6 MOPA. I have purchased the Lightburn galvo extension. It detects both lasers and the galvo part is working well. When I have tried to perform a material test on the diode laser the preview looked really strange. It seems to apply the galvo speed and it runs far out of the material test area. How could I fix this? Any suggestion?
Did you have the diode laser working in Lightburn prior to buying the galvo?
Yes. I have used for a year.
OK, Please post a screenshot (not a cell phone pic) of your entire Lightburn screen with your project loaded and the Cuts/Layers Panel and Laser Panel visible. Also post a screenshot of the Devices window showing both lasers with the diode laser selected.
Click on edit material setting and show that screen
Those settings are deifintely not for a diode laser. Let me see if I can guess. You were working with the Galvo, then you switched to the diode, but have not loaded a diode project. You went to material test and here you are.
You probably don’t have load default layer settings checked, so it is remembering the last settings you used in that layer. I recommend enabling that feature.
Hi Tim,
You are right it was not selected. Now it is ON. I will see the result tomorrow,
Family would not appreciate switching both machines On and OFF 10PM:)
Thanks a lot
Have a nice night.
I took the risk conflicting the family and after launching Lightburn, selecting the diode laser and loading the project the material test was usable.
Thanks a lot
