We have ordered our Glowforge Pro, however having second thoughts on the machine. Any opinions on other machines. We want to use lightburn, have a rotary attachment, and a camera. Been looking at the Boss ls1416 but if anyone could give their opinion, it would be appreciated.
There are a WAY better machine that the GlowForge. In my opinion, the build quality on the BOSS machines are way overrated. If I were buying something new today, this would be my first choice by a mile: https://www.thunderlaserusa.com/
I could be wrong, but I don’t think Lightburn can control a GlowForge due to GlowForge’s proprietary interface.
I’ve had a Thunderlaser Nova 24 (16x24, 60 watts) since I canceled my GF Pro pre-order 3 years ago and have been very happy with it.
My advice would be to cancel the GF ASAP.
