Pretty new to lasers but been 3D printing for a while. My problem started when I upgraded the firmware on my Longer Ray5 10W to add limit switches. The firmware was upgraded from the default version that came with the machine to the limit switch compatible version provided by Longer Here
The upgraded firmware provided a new look to the touchscreen interface but removed a toggle switch to disable the beeping noise. Without that toggle, I cannot disable a loud beep on startup. I have searched in the web interface settings, touchscreen settings, as well as online forums for a solution.
If anyone knows how to disable this beeping without physically removing or damaging the buzzer please let me know.
Alternatively, if anyone has a copy of the original firmware I would appreciate if you could pass that along.
