Disable grid view when using camera

I have been playing around with different camera’s. I have noticed when the fade button is on the image is completely faded. What would be nice is if we can just fade the grid without distortion to the image. I think this will give us more precise alignment when we rely on they camera for location. Anyway to do this?

It doesn’t work. It will only disappear if fade is on otherwise it’s still there.

I think it uses a different code path, because faded draws on top of the grid, and non-faded draws behind it. I’ll need to look.
