DIY engraver from 3D printer

I recently decided to convert a little used 3D printer for engraving. I stripped out the motherboard and fitted a MKS DLC v2 controller, removed the hot end and made a mount to accept the NEJE 20w unit. I was lucky that the stepper motor plugs were a direct fit to the new board, though I’m not using the end stop switches.
It works very well as an introductory rig and is very sturdy, its also handy having the Z axis live.
I’m using Lightburn for my designs and am learning fast, I’m only posting this to let others that are thinking of a conversion it is a good option if you have 3D printer that you’ve stopped using.
