i am trying to use lightburn as a plotting program. I built a solenoid pen holder and am able to pen down fast when the laser is programmed to fire. I am trying to use offset fill but I assume there is some overscan for the offset fill because I get a short line leading into the fill. Is there any way of turning it off as you can with normal fill
Overscan is not available when using offset fill.
Can you show us what you’re dealing with?
Sorry, It’s not a overscan issue. I need a start and end delay for offset fill? I can’t find anything on it so assuming it’s not a thing? Also probably no easy way to add a delay to gcode?
Not for offset fill. There is a Start Pause Time and End Pause Time under the advanced tab for lines.
As a hack you could potentially do the following:
- Select the shape you want to burn
- Edit->Convert to Cut
- Select the resulting converted shapes
- Change to Line layer
- Set delay in Line layer settings
