Does the air assist go above the X-axis timing belt or between?

One of my timing belts broke, I ordered a new one and reassembled my cutter.
When I took it apart, I didn’t note how the air assist tube crosses the belt.
Could someone with a big CO2 cutter like mine take a look at theirs and tell me which way it’s supposed to go?

Thanks so much!

I’d vote for “above”: you absolutely do not want anything touching the belt.

Not only will rubbing erode both the belt and the spiral wrap / hose / wiring, any vibration will produce all manner of Bad Results™ in your engraving & cutting.

Keep it up and away from anything…

Might not have any clearance on the axes extreme limit…

Good luck
