I am interested in adding a camera to my setup in order to help with aligning my work pieces. However, I cannot mount it inside of the enclosure that I am currently using due to the height of the enclosure lid. So my question is:
For alignment purposes, does the work piece need to be visible to the camera only during alignment or does the camera need to see it while the engraver is running? Could I mount the camera above the enclosure, set everything up, then close the lid afterwards?
I not 100% positive but from what I undersatand, yes you can.
No from what I understand the camera is used only to get the precise coordinates when you are drawing / seting the work on lightburn. After that those coordinates are send to the machine.
You only might need camera while working if you want to see in lightburn camera window the job runing.
