Does your laser do this?

hi everyone! i have a monport 30w with a 210mm lense and running lb.

so when im done with a project, every single time i have to put a piece of metal down above my tray or have to remove my project completely off the tray because the laser like to shoot a single dot laser beam when i turn off the machine
is this normal?
how can i fix this?
does anyone here has a a similar issue?

I don’t have a Monport 30W. However, it is not normal and sounds like there is some sort of power surge when you are powering your machine off.
I would reach out to your supplier or Monport directly.
