No, i have no homing switches. I was using the home button in the laser menu.
Without homing switches you should refrain from pushing Home button.
Is the laser working correctly now?
If not, can you save Gcode again?
Laser is burning at about 3% , it doesnât matter what i do, he only get off when i turn the power down. But in all other commands he stays at the same level. Movement is there but no powercutting.

Your gcode looks fine now as far as power.
Recheck your laser cable from controller to laser module. Itâs likely that youâve crossed a wire or something.
The laser cable is the original from the module, 3 wiring and it fits on just one way. I checked with a multi meter to be sure there are no breaking points. Iâm gonna check the board print with the laser output points. I let you know what i found(or not)
On the laserunit i found: Red +12v - Black -12v - Blue TTL/A
On the MB i found: Red 12v + - PWM Black - Ground Blue
I think balck and blue on the MB side are crossed. In muy opinion the ground is black and the other has to be the blue one ?
Black and blue are crossed. I change this and see what happens.
This is likely the issue.
Okay, i fixed it after the crossing the laser works ok. The only thing is , a TXT letter written with the texttool is upside down.
Try this:
- Start the machine with the laser head at the front left of the machine. Then type these commands in Console and return output:
$#
?
- Jog the laser to the top-right and then run this command in Console:
?

On the laserhead is a turnable knob, in the old set with old MB the knob was always turn on to the max. Now knob is set off and laser is only burning after start and framing. Whats the effect on the result?
Iâm not familiar with the function of the knob.

And again i have to wait 4 hours? but itâs not my first day anymore? When laser is cutting, the power is not 100% i see, almost but he burns for 95% through the veneer.

I changed the Z position and the speed set on 200, that goes through the veneer. The power is set on 100%.
I Found out $3=3 then itâs okay. The powerproblem i mentioned is i think the Z axis with the focus. Not a big issue, i found on ointernet some GRBL subjects and after some try outs it works. We will see whatâs happen with our specials in wood pieces. Thank you for your inspiration so far. Iâm still learning things about GRBL.
