Don't understand why I have to see the image the wrong way

Need to understand the logic or common sense behind this. Device setting was originally at the bottom left corner and towards the end the words were mirrored. Read the instructions given to the prior customer and after I made the changes, the image is upside

down. I’d like to see the image the correct way, right side up. Please help me understand, so confusing.

You don’t need to see the image upside down.

1. For your machine you need to set the origin in Device settings to top-left. Never change that.
2. It’s likely that your design will then be upside down and mirrored. If so, then rotate/flip as required to get it right-side up. It will engrave to how you see it.

Ok, I’ll try that. Also, I noticed that Lightburn version is 1.103 and the instructions say 1.104. How can I get it to update?

If you are referencing a post I made, I am testing an unreleased beta at this point and may have shared an image with that version. The versioning number, in this case, should not be a factor. @berainlb has you on track, so please let us know how you progress with those suggested steps, and we can go from there.
