Looking to do a fine trace. My laser is just too powerful, which is great. But not for fine stuff.
My experience with Dot Mode makes the laser run SUPER slow, but does do the job
How do I make it run at 100-200 mm/sec but still do a good trace?
Use perforation mode with small cut and skip values, like 0.1mm.
Dot mode actually pauses the laser for each dot, whereas perforation mode keeps moving and rapidly toggles the beam, much like dithering an image - you can see it the preview if you zoom in.
