I have a Nova 24 machine and use lightburn. I have looking over other discussions and this and have tried everything that people have indicated. Any other thoughts on this issue?
It looks like severe mechanical backlash along the X axis, which is generally due to a loose screw somewhere between the stepper motor shaft and the laser head or, sometimes, an overly slack drive belt.
Work your way through the mechanics with an eye toward finding anything that’s even slightly loose or moves easily by hand with the motors stopped.
I guess with mine I need to have the scanning offset enabled. All is fixed.
Can close my issue at this time.

Incorrect (or no) scan offset correction will produce serrated vertical edges due to the different starting points for alternate lines, which is not what the photo showed.
Had you already calibrated the offset for several different speeds?
