when using the fill mode I have all of a sudden began getting a double image. its like its running two passes but Lightburn is set to run one. The second image is like 1mm to the right of the 1st or original placed image and happens on an imported image, an image drawn in Lightburn or Text… This problem does not happen in line mode either. I dont have very much hair left but even less after this. Ant help would be appreciated. Please note that I am not very savvy on Lightburn yet so try to talk to me like a dummy . lol

This symptom may be caused by backlash or a loose set screw securing a pulley. It only shows when a change in direction occurs.
With the xTool fully unplugged and disconnected, slowly move the laser head by hand to the middle of the workspace. Wiggle it gently left to right and see if it moves freely about this much.
Confirm that all the tiny screws in the pulleys are tight and recheck.
If it’s not loose, there is a ‘scanning offset’ value that could be driving this behaviour.
Thank you JohnJohn. It certainly was the scanning offset. I watched a you tube video and learned how to adjust it (Thank you to House of Lasers). I really appreciate you getting me on the right path.

Note that the scanning offset should have been preconfigured for you if you used the device profile provided by xTool. Did you create yours manually rather than using the one provided by xTool?
