I have a Creality 10W Falcon Pro. I am getting double images on everything, especially on the rotary(both chuck or roller) I checked for level, tightened the belts, checked the x-axis motor gear, checked square, cleaned all rollers, belts, & pulleys. It did get a bit better but the image looks blurry. This is today’s first run:
The second one looks better but still very blurry. What is going wrong? This has just started again today. The last time was fixed with a quick belt tightening. Nothing is helping this time.
Show the settings you used. Either the mechanics (x axis) could be faulty or the settings exceed the machine’s capabilities. You can experiment with scan offsets to compensate this, but I’d rather check for other reasons first.
I have the same issue on the same machine. Just a simple fill text creates a shaddow looking image in horiz direction. I’m new to lightburn & the machine.
Follow the advice in this topic and first check your machine for any mechanical issues, loose connections (like a loose set/grub screw at the X-axis belt drive pulley) or loose belt or wobble in the x-axis carriage or laser mount.
If you halve the speed is the issue still present?
Thanks for that help. It was mechanically OK. The scanning offset link helped solve my problem. ( I didn’t really understand what it was, but that link explained it and solved the issue)
The scanning offset is there to help with a mechanical issue. So basically, your problem is mechanical, and you could overcome it with the scanning offset.
