I have a Creality CR Falcon 10W Pro with air assist. I use it with Lightburn software. Initially it worked fine, but lately it has been engraving double/ghost images. I have checked all the mechanics - it stands on a level work surface, I’ve cleaned all the tracks and lubricated the wheels. Do you have any advice for me please? I have an urgent job that I need to complete and I really need to solve this issue. I’m not fully clued up with Lightburn software yet, as my previous small engraver was super simple. Would really appreciate any advice
I’m having the same issue started about a week ago if I look at it close it almost looks like a 3d image I’m using 1.7.08 which I have been using for about a month now and also noticed I cant have more than one page of LB open to work on 2 projects at the same time if I’m on one and minimize it I cant open the other, sometime I’m working on more then 1 project at a time any thoughts. Thanks Dean

Opening multiple Lightburn instances: Simply start the program a second … third … time
Poor engraving results. To troubleshoot the issue, we need at least the power and speed settings, as well as information about whether everything is working properly in the preview window.
I have found it is often the beam hitting the edge of the hole in the ‘cone’ the air assist [and beam] come out of. I made a tool that Russ from RDworkslearninglab-youtube adopted- high praise IMHO. Gene
For those reading in the future: that’s typical of CO₂ lasers (like the OMTech polar just above), where the beam enters from afar through a fiddly mirror, but is rare in diode lasers (like the Creality up top) with solid-state emitters and tightly coupled optics over a firmly mounted aperture.
Which is why we prefer having folks start a new topic, rather than tag onto one with unrelated hardware …
