Downloading LB to laptop via phone

Hi all

If I am downloading LB and other software to my laptop that is accessing the internet via a phone (linked by usb), will the laptop be identified as the device downloaded to and all is ok.

It is the machine on which LightBurn is installed that is registered, regardless of how the program is downloaded.

Great, so the phone is simply acting as a receiver/intermediary.
