Drawing continuous line from node to node without double clicking?

In the past you could trace a square, with the line tool, by clicking on corner 1 then corner 2 on to corner 3 etc. At some point after an update, lightburn defaults to clicking on node 1, node 2, node 2 again, node 3, node 3 again and so on. This is resulting in a square that is 4 separate lines. or often some new lines that are partially attached to the original shape. I didn’t see an option in settings to resort back to my original preferences and I do not know what the feature is called to search it.

Noticed this was implemented in Onshape

I do not observe / can’t recreate your problem. Ie the line tool works here with me as always, simple click to change direction and 2 x clicks to exit / close Shape.

What do you refer / mean by it?, And or what does it have to do with Lightburn?

It may be time to change the mouse’s batteries or blow the fuzz out of its buttons. Many folks have been surprised when their trusty mouse developed dementia overnight.

It the same on both my home and work desktops.

I referenced another drawing software that replicates it thinking that maybe its a common feature with a term or name that I could then search and possibly disable.

It isn’t an issue if i am freehand drawing with the line tool, only when I am tracing an existing shape from node to node.

I will see if I can take a video screen grab showing the issue.

Thanks for clarification.
I just tried to manually trace an existing shape with the line tool and it works here as expected.
