hi, i have an issue with the omni 1 commarker while using it with a DS 700 ( Remote USB Device Connectivity over Network - DS-700 ). the ds-700 makes usb devices in a network local. while i can find the omni1 without a problem and see it in my device list on the local pc, i cannot get a connection to it with lightburn, it stays “disconnected”. i tried connecting it directly to the computer which works, so the problem is anywhere in between. - anyone got an idea?
If the direct connection works it must be something about the DS-700 that is the problem, are you using the USB3.0 or USB2.0 port? try both, but you might have more luck with the USB2.0 port:
Or it may just be that the latency is too high (are you also connected to your network by wifi? - any difference if hardwired into your network?, check network routes to the DS-700 are minimal and fast).
