I’m trying to troubleshoot some weird behavior in my 60W JPT laser, maybe someone can help me. I import a particular .DXF to Lightburn it will frame correctly and even preview the image but when actually I run the laser then only 5 lines are engraved. The same 5 lines no matter where I move the image or which direction I oriented it. Happens with slow speeds of 200 and high speeds of 1000.
No other .DXF does this. I’ve exported a new one from fusion360 which didn’t do anything different. I have grouped all the lines and ungrouped them.
I have no idea what might make this happen but all my other files engrave just fine so I figured the image isn’t playing well with some setting I’ve never used and don’t know about.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
I would probably need to see or work with the file to determine the cause. alternately, I could import the same dxf and see if I experience the same behavior.
You are welcome to post either the .lbrn or .lbrn2 (or the .dxf) file here or send a message to me directly here.
