Hello, i got a lightnurn file. But i want to change the name. Can this be done ?
One way to do it is to edit nodes (Alt-n) and Mouse over-D to get rid of name.
Then ad name you would like to have (Ctrl-T) place it and warp it (if you like)
Draw a box over where you need to remove lines over/inside name.
Then you Group the two lines(Ctrl-G) that goes over the name.
Mouse left click and shift key left click rectangle and Bolen Subtract.
Now you should have your own sign

Thank you for your time. I managed everything but the last step. can you help me on how to do this ?
I removed the name and added a new one. Now i want to group the lines

That is to just remove the rectangle so there is no lines over the name.
Then you right click the name and “Convert To Path”
Then you click on the name first +Ctrl-click on the two lines and “Weld all selected shapes”
And then you should have something like this I hope 
I dont know what iam doing wrong. first i select the text and select Covert to Path.
Then i select the car and text en than Weld all selected shapes and nothing happens
Could you put up the file, then it is easier to se what is wrong ?
Yes I see what is wrong. All lines have to be closed.
And letters have to be connected, just stretch the “S” a little to the right.
Then it is easy to weld it together, now you can try.
