upon reading edit nodes and setting start point it all makes sense and is clear ,
the only thing which could be added for new users that aren’t familiar with lightburn is . you 1st needs to click convert to path before you can add a new node or edit existing as they are locked when created , took me couple min to remember this has to be done in lightburn also

Explanation:
Shapes created with the internal shape tools like rectangles (or stars in the version 2.0) are not actual paths, so that the “Shape Properties” function recognizes them as such.
This allows you to create useful shapes like this one that started with a Star and I changed the points, Bulge and ratio
