Edit nodes did not work

My edit nodes did not work after recent update.

Could not enable node edit … ?

What were you trying to edit the nodes of?

I tried to create a node to my drawing and it doesn’t work. I used to select the line, then press node and create points to manipulate the line. Now it doen’t work. Nothing happens after selecting node icon.

I use my laptop for comparison to the table top computer and laptop edit node works. What happens now?

What are you trying to edit? Do you have any screenshots, or can you upload your file?

I’m practicing how the edit node works and cutting a square or rectangle by drawing a line through it.

I don’t know what happened, but it’s working now. I used the radius, then the edit node with a line across it. So, thanks for your attention.
