I just downloaded the trial version, I would mainly use the program to make rubber stamps.
Rubber stamps usually have 4-6 lines of text below each other, the first line of which is usually a slightly larger font size.
How can I set it so that, for example, for 4 lines of text, the first line is a larger font size and is bold?
Merging the first line and the 3rd line as separate texts is quite cumbersome, and it is difficult to align them exactly.
So far I have worked with CorelDRAW, in which you can format the text in the same way as in an office âWordâ program.
You can format your text as you want in corel draw and save it as an svg file, which you then import into Lightburn. As Mike said above, you will lose the ability to edit the text. Lightburn only has basic text editing features.
You might want to look into using the variable text feature.
We mostly use if for templates, where each âitemâ is a different piece of wood we are burning.
Are you thinking of burning the letters of a rubber stamp with a laser?
I would be concerned with the fumes, and flammability of the rubber.
I was, too, but it turns out ârubber stampâ rubber isnât the same as ârubber tireâ rubber. Surpisingly, the stuff cuts cleanly and doesnât smell like a tire fire.
Thanks for the answers!
Itâs really not too complicated to merge 2 different texts, but it would be easier to just format the text
Saving and importing from Corel also works great.
Nice. Thanks. Didnât want to go down the wrong rabbit hole.
I was thinking that âRubber Stamp Rubberâ wasnât necessarily what the product he was using is actually called.
I liked the idea of being able to cut soft seals for one of my projects.
