Good day,
I’m new at lightburn and I have a question about how the program generates g-code.
I’m using highly modified equipment and my laser head only understands the M3 and M5 commands (only off or on). Generated G-code obviously turns the laser with M3 only in the beggining and then uses the S0-S1000 range to output power information to the machine. In my case it means a continous line.
If I manually add the “M3” and “M5” commands to my test G-code to match the S0 and S1000 (in plain text) it runs absolutely perfect. I’d love to use this program, but is it possible to set on how I want the G-code generator to operate = to use the M3 and M5?
Did you test to add the laser type as grbl-m3? I don’t know if that helps, at least, it doesn’t use M4 then.
It works well now after setting up as grbl-m3 thank you!
