While using my laser machine, suddenly the laser head and its movement (x and y) axis stop working completely. My machine’s touch screen works but does not engrave. It does not move even when you turn left and right on the working digital panel. Wifi doesn’t work. I updated the version and software of my device and my problem still persists. What is the solution to this problem? I do not do any work that would damage my laser machine and I use my machine very little.
The machine isn’t grbl and Ruida… it can only be one…
What is the bug?
Is the rotary attached? Which kind?

Check your power supply is connected and it is providing the correct voltage.
The screen and controller receive power from the USB connector, so even if the screen is lit that does not mean the steppers and laser are getting power.
That would cause the machine to not move even though the unit appears powered on.
I know it’s been 2 years now, but I had the same problem and managed to fix it. So, if anyone else runs into the exact same issue described here, you should know that it’s due to an improperly executed firmware update. You (or the previous owner) probably flashed the wrong firmware onto the machine.
When you perform the update, you download two firmware files. One is named ESP32 TFT and the other is DLC32. The firmware for the machine itself is the DLC32, the second one (ESP32 TFT) is the screen’s firmware and must absolutely not be installed onto the machine using the standard method (via the main USB port).
