hi
when i embed an image in illustrator and use a mask to make the image a shape, looks right on the AI image but when imported to LB the image is square…how do i import as per the AI file
Can you send me one of these files? LightBurn doesn’t support image masks in AI files at present, so you would need to actually alter the image to do this. I’m not sure if there’s a way in Illustrator to have it bake the mask result into the embedded image or not, but that would be one possibility. If you send me a file with a mask, I can look at how difficult it would be to add support for this.
It’s probably either Object -> Expand or Expand appearance. I don’t know for sure though.
