Engraved these rocks for my grand & great grand kids. Done with my 60w JPT using a 110m lens. 95% power, 900mm/s speed, 45khz, 190 Qpulse, .03 line space & 15 cross hatched 43 degree auto-rotated passes. Averaged 8 minutes each.

I etch petroglyphs on flat rocks and spread them around at the beach.

Good idea. I live on an island noted for it’s petroglyphs so I might do some of the same.

Watch for the History Channel’s upcoming documentary on how alien races taught the concept of a written language to ancient man via petroglyphs engraved by the lasers on their orbiting flying saucers!
