Engraving on brass?

Sorry , 20w . TTS 20 Pro

You are using a diode laser, I have the Atomstack a5 pro ad well. Diode laser will not engrave any kind of metal except for some stainless steel. You need a FIBER laser to engrave on brass copper or steel. That’s what these guys are trying to tell you.

Not true 100% of the time. I engraved aluminum pet tags using CerMark and a 10w diode laser. Unfortunately, a thick brass coin did nothing with a 20w laser. I suspect metal thickness, and therefore the ability to absorb heat, plays a large part.

diodes you have with different wavelengths too…

Get some anodised alu dog tags you can mark those probably.

A 10w diode does these very well and reasonably fast.

With respect, grammatically, the apostrophe there ought to have been removed.
If it’s the home of the Moore family, then the Moores, is a simple plural word. No apostrophe is needed, like a paddock of horses, etc.

If you said The Moores’ house, then the apostrophe indicated posession - but it comes after the S, because there is a family of people called Moore, not just one singular Moore.
Hope that helps.

That would make it plural possessive.
Moore = one of them
Moores = a bunch of them (this is the correct one as @Stewey indicated)
Moore’s = possessive one of them
Moores’ = possessive all of them
