Using a ComMaker B6 30W Galvo Fiber laser with chuck rotary, Lenovo ThinkPad Windows 11.
When engraving text with a “period” or “point” the text and numbers engrave correctly but periods and/or points get engraved in a superscript location. I have tried multiple different settings and can not get them to engrave in the correct location, does anyone have any suggestions?
Thats very odd, I’ve never heard of this happening, LightBurn text doesn’t have a control or setting for subscript/superscript.
What do you see in the Preview window? Same thing?
What font are you using? - if you change the font does that make a difference?
In the preview window it looks normal; commas and periods are where they should be.
I have tried Arial, Calibri and Gill Sans MT, all put commas and periods in a superscript location. I even tried to increase the text size but no luck; the object is a 50mm aluminum tube on a chuck rotary.
This made me think of the vertical alignment switch on the Text edit window. If that is not it, then I am with @NicholasL on this one.
I do have a VSpace of 22.50, perhaps that is causing the issue
Easy enough to test!
