i am new to “Lasers” and I got a Orthur Laser Master 2, it works and I get him connected to Lightburn.
I started some “test engravings” the word “Hallo”. The Problem (see the picture)is that a the lower part from all letters are missing. this happens all the Time. Some one had in Idea what I can do/change?

Most likely a belt is too tight/loose. Make sure pulleys and servos are mounted tight.

I will check but I don’t think the problem are the belts. The rest of the engraving ist goog it’s only the Start (First 2 or 3 lines) and it seems the laser is not „strong enough“ here.
Try engraving on darker material. White paper reflects most of the power from a visible light laser, and it won’t burn until it heats up enough to darken it, and then the darker area absorbs more power and burns very quickly.

This is white cardboard so is there any chance „to fix it or a workaround“.
Better focus, lower speed, higher power, or darker material.
