Engraving VERY slowly

That wont work as it would be too fast to burn the wood. If i set on Max power and speed around 180 mm/min that is the best quality. Any faster and the engraving is was too light or non existent.

Setting a Fast Whitespace speed in Edit > Device settings will use a faster speed only in the white area between the engraved bits. Not as fast as vectoring, but much faster than using a single speed for the whole job.

You also have an old version of GRBL, it does’nt include $30, $31 or $32.
You should upgrade it to GRBL 1.1

I had the same issue. It turned out to be the resolution of the image.
When I scaled the image to 75dpi It printed nicely.

Also you do not have “Optimize Cut Path” turned on.
If you turn it on it will cut complete lines before moving to the next
shape instead of printing in a raster image. That will greatly reduce your time.
