Enlarging the cutting area of my Ortur Master1

I have a Ortur master1 and am thinking of building a new frame so as to enlarge my cutting area my question is will i need to update the lasers software or will it just cut until it trips the end stop switch that is to say is the cutting area limited by software or end stop?

I believe soft limits are enabled on the firmware for that machine. You’d need to change $130 and $131 for X and Y max travel (mm) respectively.

You’d need to also change the work area size in LightBurn Device Settings.
