Erasing the job/file in memory

Hi, using a Boss 1420, a Mac and 1.3.01 Lightburn

I can see a temp job on the console screen. If I hit START, it runs, even if the machine has been reset and turned off and on.

I followed the helpful video showing how to go to PAGES and then OTHER+ and delete all, but I don’t see any files in ‘pages’. Just the one file on the console, the one that causes Lightburn to say the laser is busy.

without going all the way to factory reset, how to clean this out and get the laser to wake up again and talk to Lightburn?

thank you!

This is usually not a good idea, you loose all the vendor data and you could brick the machine, at least it wouldn’t run…

In the file window of Lightburn you should be able to refresh the contents and delete all or any one of them… Might try just deleting them all from Lightburn.

I’ve never seen a temp job… how do you tell?

thanks @jkwilborn

on the console, it says “tempfile” so I figured it was a temp… file.

I went to the FILES panel and deleted all the files. It didn’t show me any files, but I hit it anyway.

And now it’s working.

go figure!

thank you.

Chuck it up to Chinese logic…
