Hi what does this error message mean?
[MSG:Detecting ambient infrared]
Grbl 1.1f [‘$’ for help]
My Ortur keeps stopping and beeping with the above error message.
What does it mean and how can I stop this happening again?
Hi @geoprint I had the same issue with my Ortur. That’s the flame detector being a bit too sensitive.
If you’re comfortable with not having the detector active, ie in the area when you are using it, you can disable it. Go to console and type:
$261=0
press enter
Will disable the alert…
