Error when updating

When updating the software I always get this error. In the past I have ignored it but I would like to understand why and how to avoid getting it. I usually put off upgrades because I don’t want to go through the hassle of trying to figure out why or worried there will be issues after upgrading.

An error occurred while trying to replace the existing file: DeleteFile failed; code 5.
Access is denied.

Any help is appreciated.

Try right-click Lightburn.exe and select Run as administrator.
