I’m not sure exactly what’s going on but I’ve been using my creality falcon laser engraver with the light burn software and it’s been working fabulous up until today, I used it this morning no issues and I took a small break and when I returned to use it, it won’t cut and it just not operating correctly, and then I noticed some either errors or something but I’m not sure what they. I tried a brand new usb cord changed the location of the power source and tried redownloading the program and still the same outcome.
What specific things are happening?
The error message in Console are typical for your machine from what I’ve seen and don’t necessarily indicate a fatal error situation.
One thing I’m noticing is that you seem to be configured with a GRBL-M3 device type which you most likely do not want. I’d suggest changing this.
Push Devices button, click on the name of your laser, then Edit. Change the device type to “GRBL” specifically and not any variant.
We already went ahead and changed that and still the same outcome…
It won’t cut when the power is set correctly (and would cut before).
It no longer can recut the same lines it will get disoriented and cut elsewhere instead of over the same spot even when not moved or touched. It cannot be paused during a cut anymore, Only stopped and takes a moment. Machine shows its cut 96% even if it has 7 minutes left
Can you post a photo of the resulting burn?
This is a bit odd but will put to the side for the moment.
Can you upload the .lbrn file for the test that you ran?
