I’m running a Genmitsu 4040 Pro Max.

In the top picture Millmage says that this is out of bounds. I don’t see it.

The text says that Millmage found a problem with it’s own app. I can HOME the machine and start over and it gets passed the original error point but will find another one further in the app.

No, the text saya the controller reported a problem. MillMage just displayed it.

This usually illustrates a USB communications problem. Typical solutions are:

  1. Replace the USB cable with a quality shielded one with one or more ferrite suppressors (big knots) in it.
  2. Make sure the USB cable is not more than 10’ (3m) long.
  3. Plug and unplug both ends of the USB cable several times. This “cleans” the contacts.
  4. Make sure no electrical/electronic device is near the USB cable.
  5. Electrically ground the frame of the laser.

To add to what Mike said if your machine has an offline controller, turn off your machine and unplug the controller.
Also did you mess with Custom GCode on your device profile? if so post your device here for us to check.
