Errors keep coming

I’ve been using Lightburn for years on and off. But since the update it’s like I’ve never used it before. I am running a Genmitsu PROVerXL 6050 Plus and after homing it I then move it to the centre of the bed and hit frame. The job is 100mm x 100mm so I do have a little room around it but I just get this alarm. The cnc is all set up in Lightburn but now very lost.
ALARM:2

G-code motion target exceeds machine travel. Machine position safely retained. Alarm may be unlocked. (Right-click the ‘Devices’ button to reset the connection)

On or near line 2:

Have you been using Absolute Coords in the past? When I went from 1.4.03 to 1.4.04, my setting switched to Current Position for some reason. I never used that mode, so I did not think to check it.

Hi Mike No I normally use user origin or current position. The last job I did I used current position and the alarm popped up, even after I set homing position 600 x 500 then set the centre position 260 x 260 then hit the start button and alarm.

Is your work area dimensions and origin still correct? How do you get your home position?

Yes Mike double checked bed sizing and origin all good. Hit the home button next to the origin button the it comes up with X 600 Y 500 top right which is correct with the origin bottom left corner.

I am not sure I am tracking what you are saying. My Genmitsu machine shows 0,0 (or very close to it) when I Home the machine, front left. When I Jog to the far diagonal corner, it shows +X and +y values in the Move window, Get Position boxes. I had to enter G10 L2 P1 X-(Xmax) Y-(Ymax) Z0 ( note the negative signs) and GRBL $10=0 to clean up the coordinate system.

Enter $# in the Console and see if there is something other than zeroes in the G54 line.

You are a great man thank you and have a great Xmas

Thank you for your kind words!
