I absolutely love the new cut away feature, huge time saver. One thing I noticed is that that the ESC key does not go back top select mode after cutting lines. This only seems to happen if you cut lines, if you click cut away mode and hit ESC key without cutting anything it does go back to select mode.
I think the same happens for the text tool … was going to raise but if it’s the same item as this then may not need to.
What version of LightBurn are you running and on what OS? I can’t reproduce this on 1.7.03 on Win11.
ESC after using Cut feature returns to Select tool. I get the same with Text tool. Note that ESC may need to be hit twice for Text tool if you are actively typing.
Using trial version on Win10 and works fine.
Every tool I select, after hit “ESC” it returns to select toll.
Using text have to hit 2 times.
I’m using Lightburn 1.7.09 on my Mac [OS 15.1.1] and the ESC key works fine.
I can’t reproduce this on 1.7.03 on Win10 either.
After restarting my computer I am not able replicate the issue. So who knows what the issue might have been. I am on 1.7.03 and Winblows 11 so could have been a system issue.
