Ethernet connection not working on 60 WATT

I have tried multiple attempts to connect to my 60 watt machine with ethernet connection, using many different cables and IP addresses. But still software does not recognize it. I have a 130 watt hooked up and the software sees it every time. Anyone have any ideas? I have watched multiple videos and still no connection.
