Export/Import not the same?

Real simple. If I export the preferences from my MacBook and Import them into my Mac Studio - the settings are NOT the same.

I’ve mentioned this before, but I still don’t have an answer. I design on my desktop, which is in my Office on my Mac Studio machine, and I cut in my Shop with my MacBook. I keep the preference files on Dropbox so that I can open them from anywhere, but I’ve also tried copying from a USB Drive and my local network and get the same results. Some preferences update, but most don’t.

I don’t have Lightburn open on both at the same time, and I have not messed with the local files or paths Lightburn uses - they are both set to the default location for each instance.

I also use two Macs. One for design and one to run the laser.

Sometimes I find it much faster to just change settings manually than to take the time to shoot photos and write a long explanation about it. But, That’s just me.
