So far, any .svg that I have exported from Lightburn has had problems when I try to open it in the EzCad software I use for my fiber laser. The file opens but has distortion and some lines are extended. I like designing in Lightburn and often my projects are done on both a CO2 as well as the fiber laser. Today, I opened an exported file in Vectric Aspire, it looked fine there. Without changing anything, I exported it from Aspire and the file worked fine in EzCad. Any ideas on why it doesn’t work directly but works when I go through Aspire first?
I’d have to see both files to compare the content to know what those differences could be. Can you export as AI from LightBurn? I’ve done that and EZCad loaded them fine.
Never tried an ai file, will give that a try.
I have to use Ai file for it to work in EzCad.
