Unable to connect D-1 to LB. I’ve been burning with the less sophisticated Xtool software all afternoon, so I know that the cabling is good and there should be no issues with LB software. The other software has been closed and the laser is not paused or busy in any way. So what do I do now?

Have You followed these:

xTool has their own rather peculiar interpretation of GRBL, so without the correct .lbdev file (D1 PRO requires a different one), it won’t work.
I’ve pretty much ditched the XCS so I haven’t run into that kind of an issue, but it’s also possible that XCS reserves the USB port even if it’s closed.
So restarting the computer after using XCS could be necessary.
