I’m having problems with X & Y distances. I checked the belts and they are fine.
I discovered when doing kerf-test with a new material. I changed the kerf to zero and noticed that X & Y are not the same. I now have X 100% and Y off by 0.01mm. I am happy with that.
How do this influence kerf settings? Do I still need to run some test prints to establish the kerf?
it could well be the diode laser’s elongated laser beam.
I compensated for the error by finding an average of the X Y deviation, there is nothing else to do.
Nb. on my old 5 Watt diode the error was significantly larger than what you write.
