I’m moving to LightBurn from LaserWeb. In LaserWeb I was able to configure Gcode pre-run and post-run scripts, which I used as follows:
- Turn on extractor fan.
- Pause for a few seconds to allow the fan to ramp up.
- (actual job Gcode)
- Pause for a while to allow any lingering fumes to be extracted.
- Turn the extractor fan off.
Running a job with LightBurn starts my fan when the job begins, but as it takes a while for the fan to ramp up to full speed, quite a bit of smoke/fumes can be generated before effective extraction becomes available.
Thanks.
