Does anyone own an Adamstack X30 pro? If so, have y’all figured out the feeds and speeds of the machine? I am still trying to figure out the right power versus the right speed to get the different burn patterns or cut patterns. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks have a blessed day.
This is one of the areas where you are on your own. Lasers and materials vary so widely that there is no standard table of speeds and power. Not sure what the difference is between the x30 and a30 Pro, but here is their suggested chart. I found this via Google.
That said, and repeating myself, there are so many variables that Lightburn saw a benefit to add the Material Test to their Laser Tools tab. This will get you closer to the desired settings than any chart can.
From what I understand the only difference is the color
No, the difference is the degree of burn. You only have 2 modes, burned and not burned. How much burned is what the Materials Test provides. It is a tool. Use as you see fit or not. Personally, I have found it quite useful for getting in the ballpark on what settings to try.
