Fehlermeldung im Lightburn Alarm 2 (error message in Lightburn Alarm 2)

Hallo Ihr Lieben,

Hello, my dears,
I hope someone here is able to help me. Until yesterday I was able to work with my Kentoktool and Lightburn without any problems, today the following error message keeps appearing:

ALERT:2

The G-code move target exceeds the machine path. Safely maintain machine position. The alarm can be unlocked. (Right-click the Devices button to reset the connection.)

On or near Line 2:

All sorts of things I’ve tried today - different things, simple circle, triangle etc. restarted multiple times…etc. always the same error.

Does anyone know the problem and can tell me how to fix it?

Sounds like improperly set limit switches or improperly set machine size.

Occasionally, an engraver can have an unintended workspace offset.

To check the current state of the engraver and the workspace please type the following report requests into the Console window in LightBurn:

$#
$G
and press Enter after each one.

Please select and copy the text from the Console window and paste it into a reply here.

These settings look good, but there’s one more thing to check.

Which corner of your engraver has the switches for homing?

Which corner of your work area was the laser sitting in when you requested the report. It looks like it was just sitting off the homing switches.

In the Move window in LightBurn please set the jogging distance to 20mm and the speed to 500 mm/minute. Then, test the four compass arrows around the home (house icon) to confirm that the engraver moves as expected. I have picked short distances and slow speeds. If the engraver is set up incorrectly, this won’t be damaging.

Danke danke danke

I got it, thank you very much for your support.
thank you thank you thank you

I’m very glad you’re up and running now.

Was a change in the location of the Origin the solution or was another setting needed?
