My fiber marker with galvo scanning head used to work just fine, but then I decided to swap the lens.
I’ve adjusted the parameters, but ever since the swap, the machine just skips engraving some lines. If I repeat the job, it may or may not skip the line again, or it will skip on some other spot. It happens sporadically and without a pattern.
It’s also interesting that a lot of times it happens around edges, but that’s not always the case.
I could understand if the lens was damaged, but then the issue should always happen and happen on the same spot.
If the scanning head was faulty, then the issue would manifest with original lens too.
I feel like I am missing something, but I just can’t figure out what.
Any ideas? Has anyone else ran into such issues and how did you solve them?
