Hello,
I have two Lenovo X1 Carbon Laptops running the latest revision of W11. I’ve been using Lightburn for the last month or so with an Ortur Laser Master 3.
I realized this past week that you can activate two copies of Lightburn with 1 key. So naturally, I’ve configured it on my main workstation for ease of use w/ multiple monitors, etc.
I’ve set up a Google Drive account to share light burn files easily between the two laptops. I’ve been designing items on my main workstation and then using the copied files on the laptop connected to my Ortur Laser Master 3.
The file settings are not transferring correctly. Upon opening, run settings, (Speed, Pwr, Whitefill, etc.) are completely arbitrary numbers. The templates themselves look fine. It looks like an exact version of the file, but then when running the job, the objects pass twice, instead of once, the pattern in which they cut is wrong, and the images, or text while appearing to be lined up, centered, etc. are significantly spaced apart, and cut into my templates.
I thought I was crazy and spaced it incorrectly, so I cut new templates, and tried again, and the same thing happened.
I tried with Google Drive, Dropbox, and OneDrive, same issue. I thought maybe the settings were being corrupted in the cloud (I’ve seen this happen with other pieces of software), so I decided to copy and paste it onto an external HD, and USB and the same thing is happening.
Am I missing something, or does opening a template on another PC completely ruin your file? It’s becoming a massive time-suck.
I’m relatively new to this software, but I figured copying and pasting a file should yield the same result.
I’ve set up the OLM3 Device in the same fashion and workspace as the other laptop.
Thanks for any help.
